What rebranding a SCORM course means
Rebranding changes the presentation around the course: the cover, logo, colors, typography, author credit, and player chrome. It does not rewrite the lessons or recreate the quizzes. The goal is to make the course feel native to your organization or your client’s brand while preserving the learning design.
This is different from re-authoring, where you rebuild the course from source content. Rebranding is faster and lower-risk when the instructional content is already approved.
What you can change
- Brand name and tagline
- Logo and source logo visibility
- Primary and dark colors
- Cover image and cover treatment
- Author credit and author visibility
- Player language and navigation labels
- Selected typography and spacing
SCORM Craft applies these changes to the rebuilt course and to the package you download, so the preview and the final LMS build stay aligned.
What stays intact
- Lesson structure and navigation
- Text, images, video, and audio content
- Quizzes, knowledge checks, and interactions
- Scoring and completion rules
- SCORM tracking and resume behavior
Always test the final package in your LMS. A rebrand should not change the learning logic, but LMS launch and reporting settings can still affect the learner experience.
When rebranding makes sense
- Client delivery. The course was built in a trial or with a generic template, and the client needs their own brand.
- White-label distribution. You sell the same course to multiple organizations and need separate branded builds.
- Third-party runtime removal. You want a cleaner player and a package that does not advertise the authoring tool.
- Format change. You need SCORM 2004, AICC, xAPI, cmi5, or Web from an existing SCORM 1.2 package.
How SCORM Craft rebrands a package
- Upload the SCORM or Rise ZIP.
- Wait for the rebuild and open the live preview.
- Change the logo, colors, cover, author, and player language.
- Click through a few lessons and a quiz to confirm the content is intact.
- Pay the one-time $19 fee when you are ready to download.
- Choose the format your LMS needs and import the ZIP.
You can rebuild again after a branding change without paying for another authoring subscription.
Rights, notices, and fair use
Only rebrand content you own or have permission to modify. If a client supplied the course, confirm that the contract allows white-labeling and modification. Do not remove copyright notices or attribution that you are not authorized to remove.

Frequently asked questions
Can I rebrand a SCORM course I bought from someone else?
Only if your license allows modification and white-labeling. Check the agreement; SCORM Craft does not grant content rights.
Does rebranding break the quizzes or tracking?
It should not. SCORM Craft preserves the course logic and tracking behavior. Test the final package in your LMS to confirm completion and score reporting.
Can I use my own logo and colors?
Yes. You can upload a logo and set the brand name, colors, cover, author credit, and player language.
How much does a rebrand cost?
The download is a one-time $19 per course. Previewing and branding are free.
