SCORM Craft aims to make its website, studio and rebuilt course player usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.

1. Our commitment

We design with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our target for the SCORM Craft application and the player we generate. We review keyboard access, focus visibility, color contrast, semantic structure, form labels, error messages and responsive layouts as part of our design and release process.

2. Measures

  • Semantic HTML landmarks, headings and lists in the studio and generated player.
  • Keyboard-operable controls, visible focus states, and skip-friendly navigation.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images where the source provides them; decorative images marked appropriately.
  • Responsive layouts that reflow on small screens and at increased text size.
  • Color contrast checks for the default player and guidance for customer branding choices.
  • Accessible names and states for interactive controls such as flashcards, accordions and quizzes.
  • Reduced reliance on hover-only interactions.

3. Known limitations

Accessibility depends on the source package and on customer choices. Original SCORM packages, third-party content, customer-uploaded media, custom brand colors and PDFs may not meet WCAG. The original 1:1 reference view is provided for comparison and retains the source package’s behavior. Rebuilt courses preserve the source content; we cannot guarantee that every interaction, video caption or document is accessible. Customers are responsible for reviewing the final course with their audience and for providing captions, transcripts, alt text and accessible documents where needed.

4. Feedback and enforcement

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email support@scormcraft.app with the page or course, the assistive technology and browser you use, and a description of the issue. We will acknowledge the report and aim to respond within 5 business days. We will prioritize issues that block access to core functions such as signing in, uploading, previewing or downloading a course.

5. Compatibility

The studio is designed for current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, with keyboard and screen-reader support. The generated course player uses standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript and works in modern browsers and SCORM 1.2 LMS environments. Older browsers or restrictive LMS frames may affect behavior; test in your target environment.
